Facility
NHL’s facility is located at 107 Catamount Drive, Milton, VT. The 10,000 square foot concrete tilt-up facility, located on a 3.12 Acre lot, is zoned Industrial and hemp business uses. The facility has an electrical capacity of 4,000 Amps at 277/480V, which the Company believes is ample power to accommodate planned growth. Under current plans, all 10,000 square feet of the facility will be devoted to CO2 extraction operations and a 2,500 square foot mezzanine will accommodate all back-office operations.
Supercritical CO2 Extraction Process
We use a Supercritical CO2 extraction process which is widely considered the cleanest method of extraction. The process of C02 CBD extraction involves using pressurized carbon dioxide (C02) to extract natural cannabinoids, terpenes and oils from hemp biomass. When C02 reaches a certain temperature, it works as a solvent. Although heated C02 works as a solvent at higher temperatures, it is non-toxic and will not leave toxic left-over residue as a by-product in the finished CBD products. This is obviously one of the main benefits of extracting CBD with the C02 method. The downside is it is much more expensive than other CBD extraction methods. Supercritical C02 extraction will give a higher yield of CBD isolate per lb of hemp biomass.
The 7 Step Process

Automation Consistency
Quality Assurance
Newton Hill Labs only uses high quality biomass. All plant material is tested by a 3rd party lab prior to purchase and includes a Certificate of Analysis detailing the presence of any pesticides and heavy metals. At various stages during the extraction process, additional testing is performed to ensure consistent quality.
